Still Can’t Find Your Abs?

You might have done thousands of crunches, sit ups, leg raises and planks but still can’t see your abs? Don’t be disheartened your abs are there, they’re just hiding underneath a layer of fat waiting to come out.

Performing those exercises is still great idea. It allows you to develop a strong core which helps to stabilise your spine and protect your back.

That’s all well and good but you want to head to the beach and show off all your hard work.

To get your abs out for the world to see you need to lower your body fat percentage. For this to happen you will need to spend some time in a caloric deficit.

This means you need to be burning more calories than you are consuming. The length of this dieting period will be determined by how much fat you need to lose.

As your body fat starts to drop, you will begin to get more “toned” (for lack of a better word). Your body shape will begin to change as the muscles that have been hiding become more visible.

Continue doing all your ab/core exercises as these will build up those muscles but also spend some time eating in a calorie deficit to reduce your overall body fat and watch those abs appear!
